April, 1984. Burt and Lauren are inconsiderate, power-hungry newscasters, who have to deliver the morning news together. Right off the bat, they are trying to one-up each other, even if it potentially sabotages the broadcast. But as tensions rise at the news stations, so do the tensions in the world.  Will the reporters stop bickering to deliver the breaking news, or will they be back on air in Hell?
