I am a composer, arranger, percussionist and vocalist, pursuing my Masters in Screen Scoring at New York University (Class of 2025). Apart from the core curriculum, I am studying conducting, jazz arranging and composition, and music psychology.
I have B.A. degrees in Music and in Psychology from George Washington University.
I was born and raised in Baltimore, MD, growing up connected to my Russian and Filipino cultural backgrounds. As a result, I speak Russian, as well as Spanish and Japanese.
Over the years, I have performed in a variety of music ensembles; including choirs, a cappella groups, symphony orchestras, and bands; which have influenced my style of arranging and composition. My music consists of minimalistic layers that naturally intertwine to create a full sound, which complements themes of inspiration, motivation, and introspection.
While studying, I have composed music for documentaries, narrative films, and silent films, collaborating with student filmmakers from New York University, The New York Film Academy, and Stevenson University. I am looking forward to forming creative alliances, using music to enhance the storytelling in various media genres.
